2025 FIFA Club World Cup venues announced as MetLife Stadium will host final; Miami, Atlanta, LA get games

With the new, expanded Club World Cup coming to the United States in 2025, 12 host stadiums have been named. It’s an expanded Club World Cup now with 32 teams taking part in the tournament which is set to kick off on June 15, 2025, and it run until July 15, 2025 where the final will take place at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. It’s a precursor for the stadium which will also be hosting the World Cup final in 2026.

These are the venues where the tournament will take place:

  • Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta
  • Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte
  • TQL Stadium, Cincinatti
  • Rose Bowl Stadium, Los Angeles
  • Hard Rock Stadium, Miami
  • GEODIS Park, Nashville 
  • Camping World Stadium, Orlando 
  • Inter & Co Stadium, Orlando 
  • Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia 
  • Lumen Field, Seattle
  • Audi Field, Washington D.C. 
  • MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford

Football is the most popular sport on the planet, and in 2025 a new era for club football will kick off when FIFA stages the greatest, most inclusive and merit-based global club competition right here in the United States,” said FIFA President Gianni Infantino, who made the announcement at the Global Citizen Festival in Central Park.

Manchester City are the reigning champions of the competition and will have a chance to defend their title. In total, 30 clubs have already qualified including Concacaf representatives Monterrey, Seattle Sounders, Club Leon, and Pachuca. There is also a slot for another MLS representative but it has not been determined who will take part in the competition through that slot but two teams who make sense are Inter Miami and the Columbus Crew.

Other teams qualified include the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Chelsea and Bayern Munich.
