On a rainy day in Venice, under the fan-shaped leaves of a ginkgo tree, the actor Jacob Elordi and his YouTuber girlfriend Olivia Jade Giannulli capped off their sun-drenched Italian getaway dressed like the sartorial embodiment of the last day of vacation: a little somber, a little dazed, but ultimately triumphant.
Arriving at the Venice airport last week, Elordi wore a camo-print LA Dodgers cap, a simple tank-jacket combo, loose-fitting gray jeans, and black leather loafers. Giannulli was dressed similarly in grayscale: oversized crewneck sweatshirt, pleated midi skirt, charcoal socks, and black Miu Miu-designed New Balance sneakers. She brightened up the look with a green baseball cap (possibly borrowing this Paly Hollywood one from her boyfriend) worn beneath a printed scarf, which she knotted under her chin—just like Grey Gardens’s Little Edie might.
They each wore a pair of Beats by Dre over-ear headphones: gray for him, black for her.
Between them, the couple carried three luxury leather bags by Bottega Veneta, who anointed Elordi as one of its coveted global brand ambassadors earlier this year. The actor carried a large tote (in lipstick red) in his hand and slung a medium Andiamo (in olive green) over his shoulder, while his girlfriend shouldered an intrecciato-woven hobo bag (in black) larger than her torso on one side, plus another structured black leather tote on the other.
In this circumstance, Jacob Elordi—a noted handbag aficionado—and Olivia Jade’s eye-popping “It” bag tally rivaled another (former) fashion couple’s: Harry Styles and Taylor Russell, who were spotted schlepping four designer bags by Loewe and The Row between them this past spring.
