An acclaimed new album. A titanic hometown residency at the Coliseo De Puerto Rico. A showstopping performance at SNL50. In 2025, it’s a good time to be Bad Bunny. The Puerto Rican multihyphenate—musician, actor, designer, activist, legit pro wrestler, the list goes on—has hardly been flying under the radar, but the last few months have seen Benito ascend to even greater heights. His latest album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos, draws heavily from the tradition of Puerto Rican music and marks one of his most acclaimed outings to date. The rollout has seen him pop up everywhere from New York City subway stops with Jimmy Fallon to Hot Ones (he tapped out early but kept the interview going).
He’s not slowing down, either. Today, Bad Bunny was unveiled as the face of Calvin Klein Underwear’s new spring campaign, shot by the legendary Mario Sorrenti. Bunny joins the esteemed likes of Jeremy Allen White, Justin Bieber, Jeremy Pope, and, of course, Mark Wahlberg in the CK history books. In a year marked by the artist taking a stripped-down approach to his music, he’s an inspired choice for a Calvin Klein tradition with a stripped-down aesthetic of its own.

Calvin Klein shoots have a pretty rigorous physical fitness standard set by models past, and Bunny put in every bit of effort necessary to reach it. “I had a whole routine focused on my physique and getting into the best shape for this campaign,” he tells GQ. “I was eating super clean and training as much as possible.” Far harder than the training, though, was the diet—he was prepping for the shoot while promoting Debí Tirar Más Fotos in New York City, which he calls his favorite city to go out to eat.
He also sought out to put a personal stamp on the campaign. For Bunny, the answer was simple: music. “The easiest and most impactful way for me to put my signature on any project is always through music,” he explains. With so much of the intention behind Debí Tirar Más Fotos directing the spotlight towards Puerto Rican tradition and culture, setting a Calvin Klein campaign video to one of the tracks from his new album, “EoO,” allowed him to nod to his heritage through the storied brand’s outsized platform. As he put it, “I truly believe that the best way to make an impact is by being genuine, authentic, and the best version of yourself—that’s exactly what my latest album is all about.”
