Beyoncé at Glamour’s Women of the Year Awards: Bey Supports Mom Tina Knowles

Yep, Glamour got what the Democratic National Convention couldn’t: Beyoncé. At Glamour’s Women of the Year Awards, Queen B showed up to support her mom, Miss Tina Knowles, who was honored as a part of the WOTY Class of 2024.

This year Glamour honored a group of “mothers of the year” who raised the children we all admire: Donna Kelce (mom of NFL stars Jason and Travis Kelce), Maggie Baird (mom of Emmy winners Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell), Mandy Teefy (mom of actor and singer Selena Gomez and Gracie Teefey), and one Miss Tina Knowles (mom of singers Solange Knowles, Beyoncé, and “bonus daughter” Kelly Rowland).

Beyoncé arrived at the annual Glamour Women of the Year Awards, rocking an Old Hollywood bob and a cream-colored short-sleeve top, during Kelsea Ballerini’s performance, a medley of an unreleased single and Bill Withers’s “Lean on Me,” which Bey appeared to be singing along to. Cute!

In a group interview Knowles revealed the moment she knew her elder daughter Beyoncé had star potential. “Beyoncé was seven and her dance teacher put her in a talent show with bigger kids all the way up to high school. And I was like, That’s not fair. She’s only seven!” she revealed, explaining, “We had put her in dance because she was shy, and I mean, she got on that stage and commanded the stage, and my husband and I were like, Who is that? Because the confidence came in. I could see it. It was something that happened on that stage that I had never seen before.”
