How To Make This Paper Grill Craft Your Own

This paper grill craft is easy to make, and that means it is easy to change up and make your own! You can do things like:

  • Change the color of the grill to your favorite color.
  • Use other things than tissue paper like paper hand prints to make flames.
  • Make extra foods like hot dogs and marshmallows. There are so many dishes you can make for your grill like pizza, bbq chicken, barbecue ribs, beef steaks whatever you can create with paper and paints! You can even do vegetables like corn.
  • Make your grill more rectangle to look like a gas grill instead of a charcoal grill.
  • Add handles to the side of the grill.
  • Make more grill accessories like tongs or forks.
  • Don’t have paint? Use color cardstock instead, colored pencil, or even crayons to decorate your grill. Cardboard will also work.
  • Add glitter to your grill. Just make sure you have something under it for easy peasy clean-up. (One momma to another mom, you will wish you did put something under their glitter. I don’t know how, but they manage to get it everywhere.)
  • Make other embellishments like a lid.
  • Use a small stick or dowel rod to make kabobs using pom poms, vegetables are all colors of the rainbows, it’ll work!

Our Experience Making This Paper Grill Craft

Our family are big grillers. We love grilling at home, when we camp, holidays. There is just something so yummy about grilled meats and veggies. And the kids always want to help dad when he grills. However, I’m not a fan of my kids being around fire at such a young age, so this is the next best thing.

They can grill all of their favorites! We made hamburgers because my kiddos love when dad makes hamburgers on the grill. And now they can make their own!
