The were a lot of couples we couldn’t wait to see at the Met Gala 2024. One of them? Dove Cameron and Damiano David.
The couple arrived at the Met Gala 2024 hand in hand, with loving glances and hugs that immediately caught the attention of the photographers’ flashes. This is the first Met Gala for the Maneskin singer and Descendants star as a couple, but not their first red carpet together: Their debut happened earlier this year at a pre-Grammy party.
The duo sported a coordinated Diesel look that was fitting with the dress code, The Garden of Time. It was inspired by JG Ballard’s short novel of the same name, which has at the center of the tale a couple living in a decadent estate, immersed in culture, arts, and flowers.

Dove Cameron and Damiano David interpreted the evening’s theme masterfully through their choice of two Diesel looks with fabric that created a sensual see-through effect. And elegance and natural beauty were the basis of the look that Glenn Martens, the Creative Director of Diesel, “painted” on Dove Cameron in a floral-print chiffon dress that with a transparent nude effect.
The entire dress, composed of 60 yards of tulle and 60 yards of chiffon, also featured a handmade corset underneath the dress. For her accessories, Dove wore a pair of platform shoes adorned with a printed fabric flower and a chiffon handbag.
