You’ll need to account for running backs missing multiple games per season when you construct your 2024 Fantasy football draft strategy. They take the most pounding, and players like Saquon Barkley, Alvin Kamara and James Conner can miss several games per season. That’s why having depth at the position is a necessity by the end of your Fantasy football 2024 drafts. Having a reliable set of 2024 Fantasy football RB rankings would allow you to hit on late-round 2024 Fantasy football sleepers who could be spot starters if your RB1 or RB2 goes down.
Miami rookie Jaylen Wright could fit the bill after he ranked sixth in yards per carry and third in yards per reception among running backs during the preseason. With the way coach Mike McDaniel can scheme wide rushing lanes on the ground, anyone who receives carries for Miami is worth a roster spot and a highlight in your 2024 Fantasy football draft guide. Last year, the model accurately predicted that Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle would fail to live up to his Fantasy football ADP. Waddle’s 2023 Fantasy football ADP was 34.86 overall and he was the 11th receiver off the board on average. He’d go on to notch a 1,000-yard season but only had 72 receptions with four touchdowns and he’d finish as the No. 34 Fantasy football wide receiver in CBS Sports PPR leagues.
The same model has a proven track record providing Fantasy football tips, identifying A.J. Brown as a sleeper in 2020 and nailing Jonathan Taylor’s monstrous season in 2021. Additionally, it’s called past Fantasy football sleepers like Derrick Henry in 2019, Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara in 2018, and Davante Adams in 2017. Anybody who banked on players like those made a run at their league title.
The model is powered by the same people who generated projections for all three major Fantasy sites, and it beat human experts last season when there was a big difference in ranking. The 2024 Fantasy football PPR rankings and 2024 Fantasy football standard projections update multiple times daily, so you’re always getting the best Fantasy football advice and the latest Fantasy football tiers.

Top 2024 Fantasy football QB rankings
Here’s a look at SportsLine’s top three 2024 Fantasy football QB picks:
1. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles: Eagles fans might be concerned about the 15 interceptions he threw and a disastrous finish to the 2023 season as far as the team’s concerned, but Hurts’ production as a Fantasy football quarterback didn’t waiver. He set new career-highs in passing yards (3,858), passing touchdowns (23) and rushing touchdowns (15), and now he’ll add Saquon Barkley and Jahan Dotson as weapons in 2024.
2. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills: Losing Stefon Diggs via trade this offseason could be a blow but the Bills are still built around having Josh Allen sling it all over the yard. Over the last four years, he’s averaged 4,385 yards and 34 touchdowns through the air and he’s had at least 421 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns in every professional season he’s played.
3. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens: Jackson’s 457 pass attempts in 2023 were by far a career-high but he also completed a career-high 67.2% of those attempts. In a more modern-looking offense under Todd Monken, Jackson also set a career-high with 3,678 passing yards and had 24 touchdowns against only seven interceptions. He’s also still the most dynamic running quarterback in the NFL, rushing for 821 yards and five touchdowns in his second MVP season. See more top QBs here.
Top 2024 Fantasy football RB rankings
Here’s a look at SportsLine’s top three 2024 Fantasy football RB picks:
1. Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers: Over his last four healthy seasons, McCaffrey has finished first, first, second and third in positional Fantasy points. There’s actually even room for improvement in 2024 as McCaffrey’s 67 receptions last year were just the fifth-most of his seven-year career.
2. Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles: For as great as Barkley was in New York, his potential reaches another level in Philadelphia. The Giants ranked 26th or worse in passing in each of the last four years, which meant Barkley faced loaded boxes. Philly’s offensive balance should open up rushing lanes after Barkley averaged just 4.0 yards per carry over the last four years, compared to 4.8 over his first two seasons.
3. Breece Hall, New York Jets: Fantasy managers should get the unlocked version of Hall after he was eased back from his torn ACL at the beginning of last season. From Week 5 to Week 18 of last year, Hall ranked second amongst all running backs in Fantasy points, trailing only McCaffrey. See more top RBs here.
Top 2024 Fantasy football WR rankings
Here’s a look at SportsLine’s top three 2024 Fantasy football WR picks:
1. CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys: Now with his contract situation resolved, Lamb can focus on replicating his historic 2023 season. He broke Michael Irvin’s franchise records for receptions and yards in a single-season, and he posted the most games with 11-plus receptions (seven) in a single season in NFL history. The latter makes Lamb the top Fantasy wideout in both standard scoring and in PPR leagues.
2. Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins: Only a late-season injury kept Hill from challenging Calvin Johnson’s single-season record for receiving yards, but the speedy wideout still ended up leading the NFL in both yards (1,799) and receiving TDs (13). Hill is entering his age-30 season but still lives up to his Cheetah nickname as his 15.1 yards per catch last year was his highest in five seasons.
3. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions: The former fourth-rounder has had the ideal progression that front office execs like to see as his receptions, yards, yards per catch and receiving TDs have all increased over his three NFL seasons. Despite the addition of TE Sam LaPorta, St. Brown remains Jared Goff’s top redzone option as he had both more targets and receptions inside the 20 than the rookie TE last year. See more top WRs here.
Top 2024 Fantasy football TE rankings
Here’s a look at SportsLine’s top three 2024 Fantasy football TE picks:
1. Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs: Kansas City overhauled its wide receivers room by signing Marquise Brown and drafting Xavier Worthy after that unit underachieved last season. Unfortunately for the Chiefs, Brown is battling a shoulder injury but even if everybody were healthy, it’s still clear that Kelce is the No. 1 option in the Kansas City passing attack. He’s averaged 96 catches for just under 1,000 yards and eight touchdowns over the last eight seasons.
2. Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions: The Iowa product was a second-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft and he quickly earned the trust of Dan Campbell and his staff. He played in at least 70% of the offensive snaps in every game but one, a Week 17 win over the Vikings where the Lions had already clinched the NFC North. He had 86 catches for 889 yards and 10 touchdowns and could be even more involved in the offense in 2024.
3. Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens: Andrews missed seven games last year, but it’s the first time that he’s ever missed more than two games during a season in his career. When he was on the field, the numbers all make it clear that he’s still a clear top-five option at the position. He ranked fourth in target share among tight ends (22.2%) and that number shot up to a staggering 37.8% in the red zone. See more top TEs here.
