The 2024 NFL season opens on Thursday at Arrowhead Stadium, with the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs set to host the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL Kickoff Game. Both teams have high-end Fantasy football quarterbacks in Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson, but have talented players in other spots that should be considered when building your 2024 Fantasy football draft strategy. The Ravens bolstered their backfield by adding two-time NFL rushing champion Derrick Henry, while the Chiefs added the fastest player in NFL Combine history in former Texas wide receiver Xavier Worthy. Two of the top players in the Fantasy football tight end rankings will also be on display in Travis Kelce and Mark Andrews.

Which Kansas City and Baltimore players should be on your 2024 fantasy football draft board? Will Kelce and Andrews live up to the hype and continue to be dominant fantasy football tight ends? Before crafting your 2024 Fantasy football draft strategy, be sure to check out the 2024 Fantasy football rankings and 2024 Fantasy football cheat sheets from the proven computer model at SportsLine.

Last year, the model accurately predicted that Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs would carry significantly more value than expected during his rookie season. The result: Gibbs rushed for 945 yards and 10 touchdowns while also catching 52 passes for 316 yards and a score. Gibbs was coming off the board in the middle of the fourth round on average but finished as a top-10 running back in CBS Sports PPR leagues.

The same model has a proven track record providing Fantasy football tips, identifying A.J. Brown as a sleeper in 2020 and nailing Jonathan Taylor’s monstrous season in 2021. Additionally, it’s called past Fantasy football sleepers like Derrick Henry in 2019, Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara in 2018, and Davante Adams in 2017. Anybody who banked on players like those made a run at their league title.

The model is powered by the same people who generated projections for all three major Fantasy sites, and it beat human experts last season when there was a big difference in ranking. The projections update multiple times daily, so you’re always getting the best Fantasy football advice.

Now, SportsLine has simulated the entire NFL season 10,000 times and released its latest Fantasy football rankings 2024, along with plenty of sleepers, breakouts and busts. Head to SportsLine now to see them.

Top 2024 Fantasy football breakouts

One of the 2024 Fantasy football breakouts the model is predicting: Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. The rookie out of Ohio State is the son of Hall of Fame wide receiver Marvin Harrison Sr., and he is expected to be a Week 1 starter in Arizona’s pass-heavy offense. In his final season playing for Ohio State, Harrison caught 67 passes for 1,211 and 14 touchdowns, despite the Buckeyes dealing with some growing pains at the quarterback position.

In his three-year college career, Harrison totaled 155 catches for 2,613 yards and 31 touchdowns. At 6-foot-4 and 205 pounds, Harrison is a physically imposing wide receiver who is widely considered to be one of the best overall prospects to enter the NFL at the position in years. Harrison is currently going off the board in the third round on average in CBS Sports fantasy drafts with an ADP of 28.1.

Another breakout that SportsLine’s Fantasy football rankings 2024 have identified: Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid. The second-year pro out of Utah is coming off a productive rookie season where he caught 73 passes for 673 yards and two touchdowns. Kincaid flashed his true potential in the Bills’ final two games of the 2023 season, catching 11 passes for 171 yards on 15 targets. With Stefon Diggs no longer in the mix in Buffalo, those numbers will likely become the standard for Kincaid going forward.

Kincaid was a first round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, and is cut in the same mold as today’s top pass catching tight ends. At 6-foot-4 and 240 pounds, the 24-year-old is a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses, and he plays with a quarterback in Josh Allen who can push the ball downfield as well as anyone in the NFL. With Diggs out of the way, Kincaid has a very good chance to develop into Allen’s No. 1 target in 2024. See which other Fantasy football breakouts 2024 to pick here.
