The golden (haired) girls of the 2000s, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz, and Reese Witherspoon, are hanging out without us. The three top banana blondes of the Y2K movie era reunited in in the Hamptons on July 26, and our Royal Tenenbaums/Charlie’s Angels/Legally Blonde-loving hearts are so full right now.
In the photo, which you can see here in People, Diaz and Witherspoon wear little white dresses, while Paltrow has opted for the slightly more classic LBD. All three have chosen to wear their silky blonde tresses down, and smile at the camera while holding a champagne flute. According to People, the three were at the Avaline 4-Year Anniversary Dinner.
Diaz shared the photo on her own Instagram, writing in a joint caption with Avaline, “We celebrated four years of Avaline in the Hamptons with a few of our close friends, and what a wonderful evening it was.✨ We sipped on wine, and enjoyed a candlelit dinner together– all while the sun went down.”
Witherspoon seems to be friends with everyone in Hollywood, and has had a long personal relationship with both Diaz and Paltrow. She described Paltrow as a “dear friend” in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, and has gone on girls trips with Diaz. Yet somehow, the three of them have never starred in a movie together.
