Whether or not your social-media algorithm tends to favor idyllic domesticity, you may be familiar with Lucky Blue and Nara Aziza Smith, the model-influencer couple who have become the internetâs most beguiling homemakersâand now, fashion monthâs new It Couple.
Technically, Lucky Blue and Nara have always been a fashion power duo. Before Nara Smithâs hyper-involved cooking tutorials made her a TikTok sensation, the German-born influencer and her Utah-native husband, who himself was a teenage Tumblr phenom in the 2010s, met as models during Milan Fashion Week in 2019.
Fast forward a few years and the pair are back on the industry calendarâthis time as both working models and full-fledged fashion month VIPs, getting dressed head-to-toe by the brands whose shows theyâre attending. Earlier this month, in fact, Nara sat front row as Lucky walked in Ralph Laurenâs spring 2025 show in the Hamptonsâher first time seeing him on the runway.
Next the couple flew over to London, where they attended Burberryâs spring 2025 show on Monday in matching burgundy leather trench coats, albeit with slight design variations: Luckyâs jacket was adorned with burnished gold studs, while Naraâs featured an oversized, oblong belt buckle. (Previously, the duo also wore head-to-toe Burberry at the US Open in New York.) Their outfitsâhis also included a black turtleneck and trousers; hers, olive-green flares and a little red handbagâwere an edgy departure from their typically traditional wardrobes. But as the internet-savvy Smiths, as well as the luxury labelsâ PR teams, are almost certainly aware, itâs exactly this sort of thematic friction that draws eyeballs.
Nara, 22, found virality by sharing videos of herself making quotidian foods such as cereal, PB&J sandwiches, and bubblegum almost entirely from scratch in their Texas kitchen, often while wearing elaborately femme ensembles, such as slinky designer gowns or feather-trimmed robes.
âA lot of people donât realize that Lucky and I have a fashion background,â Nara Smith recently told GQ. âAnd I love dressing up. I love doing my makeup and looking put together, and I love cooking in cool outfits. That just became a part of my content that people liked seeing.â
