Ever since I was a little girl Iâve been fascinated by Cinderellaâs iconic glass slippers, so of course Iâm obsessed with Megan Thee Stallionâs glass manicure. Cinderellaâs slippers were so beautiful in the animated movie that they captured my attention and havenât let go, decades later. Why wouldnât you want to wear enchanted shoes made of shimmering, sparkling glass, so precious that only one person could slip her foot in them? Well, thereâs the whole practicality aspect of wearing shoes made from glass, so maybe a manicure like Megan Thee Stallionâs is the next best thing.
The rapper, who is set to drop the second half of her Megan album this week, stopped by The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon wearing a manicure that Cinderella would definitely approve of. As usual, she opted for her favorite long square shape as the base for the set. At first, her nails seem almost translucent in tone, but when you zoom in, you can see that while theyâre definitely more see-though than they are opaque, theyâre also painted with a frosty pale pewter-silver color reminiscent of Cinderellaâs fairy-tale footwear. Theyâre sheer, but not. Theyâre silver, but not. Theyâre simple, but full of magical little details.
