See? I promised this craft would be super easy and fun for kids—especially little ones.
- If you want a more complicated apple craft that takes a longer time for crafting: simply use white paper plates in place of the red plates, then invite children to paint or color them red, green, or yellow.
- Make an apple banner: connect all of the apples with colorful yarn to make a long banner!
- Make an apple door hanging: the finished apple crafts look adorable hanging from the refrigerator or classroom doors.
Easy Paper Plate Apple Craft for Kids
We love these apple crafts for preschoolers. It’s a simple craft that toddlers and preschoolers can do with minimal help. Plus, using scissors, with adult supervision, will help your little one get some fine motor skills practice. It’s budget-friendly because you just need a few items that you may already have.
Even if you don’t have everything you can still do it. Don’t have construction paper? That’s fine! Don’t have a red paper plate? That’s fine! You can take a white paper plate and white paper and cut it in a similar shape and color them or paint them! That will allow you to make your favorite kind of apple! You can use green for Granny Smith, yellow for Golden Delicious, pink for Pink Lady apples. There are so many different apples to choose from.
