Hope Walz was conceived via IVF.

Amid debate over how much the government should be allowed to regulate contraception, fertility, and abortion, Walz is firmly pro-IVF, sharing that he and his wife dealt with infertility before welcoming Hope in 2001 thanks to IVF. They named her after their hope of having a family.
