Styles officially debuted the fresh buzzcut (and a new fragrance with his brand, Pleasing) in Vogue on November 15, and the pic quickly began to make the rounds on social media. Reviews are, to be honest, a bit mixed.
“He looks like a plastic surgeon whose mom owns a hospital in Seattle,” observed one Twitter user. “He took the ‘you grew your hair long’ line too seriously and did this,” tweeted one dissatisfied fan. Another fan on Instagram agreed, commenting, “He beat the, ‘You grew your hair long’ allegations.”
Others were just here for the “Harry” puns. Wrote one Instagram commenter, “It’s not harry styles anymore, just styles.” Tweeted someone else, “Thinking about the person who said ‘how are u gonna be named harry styles without any hair to style.’”
