Zendaya Trades Boho Wedges and Public Kisses for Stilettos and Flowers at Tom Holland's Final Night in Romeo & Juliet

After rehabilitating the asymmetrical skirt, Zendaya is doing the same for wooden wedges. And what better way to declare a new it-shoe than with the PDA seal of approval?

While Zendaya recently made Paris her runway during the 2024 Summer Olympics, she made it back to London in time for Tom Holland’s final performance in the West End production of Romeo & Juliet. On August 3, Zendaya was photographed wearing sky-high Christian Louboutin stilettos as she arrived at The Duke Of York’s Theatre with a large bouquet of red roses.

In the photos, which can be seen here, Zendaya paired her towering heels with baggy light-wash jeans, a white tank top, and a light-colored jacket with floral embroidery. She finished off the look with a voluminous blowout and Louis Vuitton shoulder bag.

Earlier this week, however, Zendaya was seen abandoning her favored Louboutin pumps for some unexpected date night footwear. In a fan-recorded video, Zendaya was seen holding hands with Holland on their way to her car before sharing a goodbye kiss with her boyfriend. In a second video of the same interaction, TikTok user @eatandexplore01 claimed the pair had a “sneaky dinner date” before one of Holland’s shows.

Zendaya’s eclectic date ‘fit? A navy Xuly.Bët long-sleeve shirt, brown leather shorts, and what appears to be an wooden wedge sandal with a slight block heel. In the clips, both actors waved at fans, with Holland walking slightly ahead of Zendaya to hold the door open and make sure she got in safely. Cue the adoring comments!

From Zendaya’s assymetrical green skirt in Paris to her embroidered jacket and wooden sandals in London, it seems the 27-year-old is embracing more of a boho aesthetic after months of tenniscore dressing—and she’s not the only one. Recently, Twister star Daisy Edgar-Jones rocked kitten-heeled clogs with a with a flouncy minidress, vintage necklaces, and a massively oversized boho bag during an outing in New York City.

Of course, no matter what Zendaya has worn these past few months, the Euphoria star stayed consistent in her support of Tom Holland’s Shakespearian pursuits. In April, Zendaya told Vogue that she “could not be more proud” of Holland for his work in Romeo & Juliet, adding, “I’m going to try to see as many shows as I possibly can.” Obviously, she made good on that promise—and looked incredible doing it.
